WEST SUSSEX BUNGALOW EXTENSION & RECONFIGUATION

The owners of this West Sussex property wanted to completely refurbish it to provide single storey living to future proof it for their later years. The bungalow was dark and the flow of the plan was fragmented, with little chance to really enjoy the garden. We extended the building and created an open plan kitchen, dining and living space with large areas of glazing looking out onto the garden.

The internal walls were reconfigured to reduce the amount of wasted circulation space. The existing garage was too narrow for a car and was converted into a new entrance lobby and practical utility space. 

Another extension provided additional space to create a large master bedroom suite. The existing bedrooms and bathrooms were refurbished and new roof lanterns installed to make them lighter and better ventilated. The clients were really pleased to have larger living areas and enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate guests for years to come.
