The owners of this Mid‑Sussex property wanted their home to evolve so it could comfortably accommodate their growing extended family during visits.

Situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the project required a sensitive architectural approach — one that the local authority supported due to the care and consideration embedded in the design.

The brief called for a two‑storey extension to enhance the home’s social spaces and create a more generous setting for family gatherings. Our architects designed an addition that blends seamlessly with the existing building, mirroring its proportions, materials and character.

A new balcony introduces a luxurious feature to the master suite, while fully glazed sliding doors frame sweeping views of the rear garden and surrounding landscape.
